Step 1 - Contact your State or Territory Program Manager
ATAP have Program Managers in most States and Territories. Please check the Contact Us list for the relevant person for you to contact.
Step 2 - Registration
Submit a registration form together with payment to your State / Territory Accreditation Manager. Your Accreditation fee will depend on the size of your business. Once registered you will receive a user name and password to access the Online Program. The Online Program has been designed for you to work progressively through the criteria and contains extensive support material, such as 'checklists', 'templates', 'more information' and 'samples', to assist you in meeting the Australian Tourism Accreditation Standard.
Your State / Territory Program Managers are available for registered operators who need assistance completing the program.
Step 3 – Work through the Online Program
Once you have completed all sections of the Online Program, you click the completed button which will forward your application to your Program Manager for a desktop review.
Step 4 - Congratulations - you are Accredited!
On successful completion of the desktop review, you will be issued Accreditation status and receive your certificate and accreditation logo for use in marketing activities.* On-site verification visits are conducted periodically to ensure the processes and procedures stated in the manual are implemented and the credibility of accreditation is upheld.
*Tasmanian and Northern Territory operators will recieve their on-site verificatin visit prior to being issued Accreditation status.
